In life, relationships are a two way street, in that you are both assessing and evaluating each other. At MDK Wealth Management it is our goal to get to know you, to see ‘where you are coming from’, but is is equally important for you to ‘get to know us’. After all, when meeting with your financial planner or any financial professional for that point, you are actually deciding whether you trust that individual or organization to look after your financial affairs, whether it be taxation, superannuation, investment, insurance or estate planning issues.
In order to do this, it really helps to understand the individual or organization’s background, and perhaps more importantly their philosophy, principles, values upon which the business is based.
At MDK our philosophy is based on the following:

Arete
Arete is the ancient Greek word, basically meaning excellence of any kind. In particular, the excellence is bound up with the notion of fulfillment of purpose or function; the act of living up to one’s full potential. Essentially it means ‘be the best you can be.’

One Percent
One percent can mean a lot of different things to different people. For me though, one percent brings a few things to mind, firstly and foremost, it’s the small things. At MDK Wealth Management we are all about the small things, the one percent, because they all add up.

Balance
For some, this balance is often considered a ‘static’ concept, in having or allocating just the right amount of time to all things that matter in your life, such as work, hobbies, career, relationship etc. and then trying to consistently maintain this same balance or allocation over time.

Passion
Passion in life. That’s what it is all about. Everybody needs passion. Without it, life is empty. If you don’t have it…find it. Passion creates purpose and drives us. It lets us fulfill our wildest dreams and desires. Passion rocks!

Commitment
Our commitment is two fold. We are committed to you our loyal clients, helping you achieve your financial goals. We are also professionals committed to the financial planning industry.

Integrity
Integrity, loyalty, honesty…don’t go without them.
